Sevilla Hotels

Handily placed hotel, about 15 min walk from the cathedral. Lots of restaurants nearby. Near the station and there's a supermarket just across the road. Gym is quite small but adequate and the pool area is really nice. I never saw it crowded and, in fact, there were only ever two or three people there to enjoy the sun. Rooms are really nice and clean. I didn't eat in the hotel so can't judge meal quality. Staff very efficient and polite. Note, this hotel is now being re-named the Ayre Hotel, Sev - Parminder

We stayed at Hotel Hesperia during Semana Santa and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to downtown, but that worked out well because our stay was very quiet. (We were at another hotel in downtown Seville during the same time and we were woken up by a marching band at 8 am and lots of street cleaning vehicles). Things that we enjoyed about the hotel: 1. This 4 star hotel is worth every Euro that you pay. The staff are excellent, the rooms are spacious and well proportioned, the bathroom has double hand wash basins and a large shower with a separate toilet and bidet alcove. The location of the hotel is approximately a 10 minute walk to the SNCF station and approximately 15 - 20 minute walk to the city center. the location is fabulous. We parked the car in the Cristobal Colon commercial center which is 3mn walk away, €13 for 24hours. This hotel was recommended by the people at the Bullfighting arena, and they were so right to send us there. The girl at reception, Patricia was very nice, very helpful and gave us her last room. Was there during Holy Week; had a little difficulty getting there because of the changes in bus routes and the swarms of people during the afternoon's processions, but took is as part of the experience. Very close to Plaza de España and Carlos V Avenue (2 blocks each); take the EA bus to the airport on this avenue; bus stop 2 blocks from hotel. There was a minimarket/store open 24 hrs around the corner, on Carlos V Ave also. Did not mind the walk to the centre, but is an easy 20-30 min walk. - Robin

We stayed here on our honeymoon and loved it. The hotel staff were very hospitable and the free internet was fabulous. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is very close to the major attractions and all of the major fast food restaurants are just down the street (perfect for a midnight snack!!). - Kelly

Situated roughly a kilometer away from the river in the heart of the Triana neighborhood it might be easy to overlook this delightful property. The Triana is an up and coming neighborhood (I'd say it was akin to Notting Hill in London or the Haight in San Francisco) with lots of dining and drinking options nearby. It's a little bit of a walk into the old city but when we return to Spain we'll be staying at the Zenit again (unless we stay at the Alphonso XIII). Our room was huge, even by Ameri - Wendy

This is one of the best places we ever stayed in. It is one of the two top hotels in Seville- the other is the King Alfonso XIII. This is a trendy, high service hotel and reminded me of a "W" Hotel in the US. Through the Melia Hotel Points Program, we received three nights for the price of two nights. You also receive 9 free hours of computer time in the business center. The bathroom is unbelievable! Definitely try this! - Maggie

After having a bumpr start in Seville we ended up at the NH Plaza De Armas. Upon arrival to their lobby I knew we had arrived to the right place. The staff was ver accomodating with our requests and gave us conecting rooms with three beds in each room. The location is superb, rooms are very comfortable and staff is very friendly. - Linda

As has been mentioned in other reviews the hotel is located on a back street which meant that it was very quiet. Upon entering the hotel we were impressed with the decor and the reception staff were very efficient at getting us checked in. The room was well decorated and clean. It was a tiny bit cramped as there were 3 of us sharing so we had to use the sofa bed but I have stayed in smaller rooms in the past that were more expensive. Decided to go for this hotel rather than one with 'character' because we wanted to be sure of a quiet well appointed room with a reasonable amount of space. This is exactly what we got. Our double room (2 beds pushed together) looked out on to the inner patio and was perfectly peaceful. The beds were comfortable and the room had all the facilities we needed, including tea and coffee making equipment, which we have rarely found in continental hotels. My family was sad that I had only booked one night here. It was fabulous! We had an apartment for four at only 109 Euro. A very nice & roomy kitchen with a washer/drier for clothes, a dining room table for 4, pull out sofa & easy chair, large bathroom, nice bedroom, and even a nice courtyard. We were very impressed. On top of all of that, it is only 2 blocks from the main sights of the city (yet still quiet) and has a friendly staff. Great place to stay! - Christopher

We loved our stay at the Petit Palace! The bathroom was large and the hydromassage shower was fun to use! Our room was huge and having a free laptop was excellent. The beds were comfy and the daily room service was excellent. The front desk manager and assistant staff were very friendly, helpful and caring. The location was the best - close to everything especially eating places, the shops and major sites. Highly recommend this hotel! I loved the free capaccinos in the lobby! - Patricia

We felt the need to add our review as we were quite apprehensive after reading some of the negative comments on this site. To begin, the hotel itself is charming. If you are expecting the sterile, anti-septic, characterless type of hotel such as can be found in any city centre then you might be disappointed. The Dona Maria is full of antiques (old fans, paintings, statues) associated with the history of the hotel. It is a former palace dating back to the 17th century. Again, if you only like 'ne - Martin
