The area is beautiful, you will feel you are in real Barcelona in no time, the place is surrounded by small shops and coffee shops. As the pension is on some floors of the house, and on other levels there are just normal flats, we did not feel very touristy. There is no elevator (5th floor?), which was with the amount of luggage we had ok. The staff is very friendly and helpful - Barbara
