  We stayed at the apartment located in the Mercat del Born area, the nicest neighborhood in the centre of Barcelona. Filled with bars, restaurants and graphic alleys to stroll. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. Yet the location was very quiet & calm since the hotel faces the Citadel Park. The interior is very modern, clean and well-maintained.   The location was great! Very close to the beach and you can see it from the balcony. Walking distance to the mall and restaurants. The apartment was cozy and well decorated...spacious. When you book, you'll get an email from the hotel asking for information and they tell you to call when you arrive. There no reception or anything so if you arrive ... what people say » early they might not be able to accommodate you and your bags (we got lucky). If you call them it takes about 15 minutes for them to get to you but yo - It was a really nice little studio apartment in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the beach, right next to super markets and restaurants and walking distance to the center. It was really clean and comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with basics like olive oil, tea and coffee. I would definitely stay there again. The staff were friendly and helpful.
