  I absolutely liked this guesthouse. The location is excellent and safe, and it is very easy to access hot spots by walking or subway. It locates between El Born and Barceloneta. The guesthouse locates in the second floor of an histrorical building and has 11 rooms. It feels like staying as a guest in an apartment, which I like. Rooms are clean and... what people say » decorated in minimalist style. Although I stayed in a single room with interior windows, the room met with my needs. I suppose double rooms with balc - The staff were very nice and understanding. They kept my reservation even though my credit card had failed and there wasn't any chance to call my bank as I was in transit from Rome. This was the best place we stayed in our 2 week holiday in Barcelona, Paris and Rome. My family loved the place and wish we had discovered it earlier. Exceptionally clean and neat with modern decor. Loved the pictures at the reception.

  We stayed at the apartment located in the Mercat del Born area, the nicest neighborhood in the centre of Barcelona. Filled with bars, restaurants and graphic alleys to stroll. The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had.   We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!

  The hote is just wonderfull- the stuff is very kind and helpfull, room was very comfortable, although the bed was very big. - I normally don't stay at 3 stars hotel. However I had to because only 3 stars offered wifi in the rooms. That was a nice upgrade.
