Salou Hotels

We have just got back. We enjoyed our stay there. We have got a 3yr old and he enjoyed. Food was good, but mainly the spainish. We ate from the kids buffet. The rooms was lovely and clean. We got a better rate of exchange from the hotel than on the street. Excellent value for money. Not many shops close by only a supermarket. A lot of places was closing or closed down. Walking up that hill was a nightmare!!!!. We took a the bus for 9.95 euros from the airport return. The bus picked you up from t - Mark

The rooms were very clean and towels were changed daily. The size of the room was very acceptable. The staff were vey helpful and extremely friendly and nothing was a problem. The food was incredible, quality and quantity. One of party had a birthday, hotel staff arranged for cake without our knowledge. The pool was slightly small but never overcrowded and it had plenty sun loungers. My daughter spent most of the time in the pool while we were sun bathing and she loved it. We went with - David

We stayed here All Inclusive for a week at the end of June 2009. We found the location excellent - quiet and a short bus ride or a twenty minute walk from the centre of Salou. The food selection and quality was the best I have experienced in a Spanish hotel. The facilities and rooms were of a good standard and kept very clean. There were very few Brits in the hotel and many of the staff did not spek much English but we did not find that much of a problem. The pool area was busy but not noisy and - Martin

I stayed at the hotel Calypso for a week, during high season, I thought it was a really good hotel. The food which I thought was gorgous, I am a really fussy eater and they catered for EVERYONE, they even had a small kids section. The enteirtainment was truely unbelieveable, they involved the audience which is great! I had a really nice room, very big! The bathroom is nice and big also! Just returned from a second stay at the h10 salou princess.Surprised to find that hardley any of the staff had changed,so obviously a good company to work for.All the staff remembered and welcomed us from last year and gave us a pool view room which was a nice touch.Perfect location for the beach and all ameneties.This hotel is more geared for the more mature customer and as such is quiet and comfortable and loud behaviour is not tolerated so you wont be woken at 5 am by the "lad" elem - Ian

My family and I stayed in this hotel from the 3rd to 10th August and we were VERY VERY impressed. The main asset of this hotel is the cleanliness, from the minute the front doors open you can smell how clean it is, the rooms were recently re-done and were very modern and clean. Our housekeeper was excellent our room was cleaned with fresh towels and sheets each day. Our group had 4 rooms for 3 nights. If we had read the reviews before booking we would probably not have booked. We didn't expect the Ritz as we had booked basic accommodation with 4 adults per apartment. Although the outside of the aparthotel did look a little shabby, once you entered the front door it was fine and the lifts worked well. We used the spacious balcony as an extra room, so were not cramped at all. The rooms, linen, cutlery and crockery were all very clean. Extra towels an - Ian
