  The hostal is a very nice apartment (or two joint apartments) on the 3rd floor of a beautiful modernist house, with these old-style elements like shutters, tiled floor, wicker sofa, and separate taps for cold and hot water, and our room had a beautiful little balcony with forged railings. The hostesses, Maria and Martina, were very nice and helpful. Living in this real b - The entire hostal has great design features and the owners knew what vintage furniture pieces to ad in order to preserve its wonderful architecture. I especially loved the strained-glass windows and the original tiles in all rooms. My room was spaceous, with a great street view from the small balcony. The location is perfect: 5 minutes walk to Paseig de Gracia and another 5 minutes to Placa de Catalunya (also, metro stations and bus stations are very close). The owners are really nice and ready

  The three of us – my parents and I- stayed at in a two-bedroom apartment on Casp street for four nights from Nov 3-8 and our overall experience was positive. The location was perfect – we could walk to all the key tourist attractions around El Born, to the city park, to Las Ramblas and to Passeig de Gracia. If you enjoy running like I do, it’s lovely to run from the apartment to the seaside of Port Olympi - Location was fantastic and we were parents traveling with adult children. After a full day out it was lovely to come back to such comfort and spend the evening in. Greet and meet service plus a bonus was being able to arrange a late checkout and transport to the airport.   Terrific location for first visit to Barcelona - walked everywhere. Excellent building with elevator. Kitchen open all day for easy access to refrig, coffee, etc. - I loved the fact that the breakfast was laid out in a kitchen that was open to all guests all day. It made it feel as though you were staying in a home.
