Perfect situation, two minutes walk from Passage de Gracia rail station and metro terminals. 5 minutes walk from high class shops and cafe bars and 3 supermarkets all within a 5 minute stroll. For those who like to walk, the Gothic Quarter, Las Ramblas, Port area and Guell Parc are all within a 45 minute stroll and the Sagrada da Familia can be seen from the roof top balcony and walked to in around 30 minutes. Many bars, Tapas Bars, Restaurants and quality shops to be found with a 5 to 10 minut.
all reviews » We stayed in one of the penthouse apartments with my elderly parents and two children. The location was superb, a few blocks from the Passeig de Gracia, many local restaurants nearby as well as stores and a very cool local market/grocery store. When we arrived we were given an in/out pass for a nearby underground parking lot (45E for 4 days approx.) The apartment has superb fittings and fixtures, is spacious and modern and close to everything but still quiet. We loved having breakfast on the. We came to Barcelona to go to Primavera Sound festival in late May and had an amazing time. Communication with the owners beforehand was really helpful and they happily made arrangements for our transfers to and from the airport. The apartment was spacious, with plenty of room for 6. We were largely left to our own devices, which for us was perfect, but we had everything we needed to get more information or advice if necessary. Lifts to the 4th Floor made it very easy to get to the room without. It's the first time i have stayed in apartments rather than a hotel and as we were travelling with my parents, we thought it would be good so that we could all be together rather than separtate rooms - and it was great! The apartment was modern and clean and plenty of space. We were on the 2nd floor and whilst the block is on a busy road, once in the bedrooms, you couldn't hear the traffic at all. My father was unwell on our last day and the staff were fantastic and let us stay in the apartme. This was a revelation. We had not stayed in short-stay apartments before as a family, but we will always seek them out now having experienced this one, although I suspect not all will live up to the high bar set by Arago312. Few words should say it all. Our apartment (3 bedroom) was huge, better equipped than most homes, spotless, bright and fresh. If travelling by air, the train from the airport will take you to Passeig de Greca station which is two blocks away, so no need for taxis if you ha. Clean, spacious, perfect location (2 min. walk to Girona metro station, 10 min. to La Rambla & Passeig de Gracia) minimalist but effective, best for 6 people (we were 3, so it was more than enough for us), kitchen has everything (including kettle & coffee machine - no drip but for press coffee). Opencore supermarket was around the corner (open from 7 AM to 1 AM). Cross walk corner big market (open from 7 AM to 3 PM). Relatively safe are but noisy (but it is not a problem, because window. Lovely appartment, even bigger than expected. Obviously recently refurbished as in good condition - internet photos actually representative. Friendly and helpfull staff, everything provided - kettle was missing but staff noticed that at check in and provided new replacement in minutes. Good location - facilities / trains close by. Close to tourist points but not too close. Secure - entrance door locked and multi point deadlocking appartment door. Even the weather was good. The apartments are very large (ours was 3 bedrooms and about 100 square meters) and comfortable. It is great to have a base in the city, close to everything. Maria was really helpful during our stay. They reverted back our deposit one 1 day bfore our departure wthout checking twice,provided clean towels and beddings more then people nr we booked for wthout asking.Had all the encessry aquipment in the kitchen. Supermarkets were nearby, and we didn't have to walk far to find a variety of restaurants and bars. We travelled a lot by metro, and the apartment was close to metro stations. Tip: buy a T10 ticket (covers metro and buses) for 10 journeys at less than a euro each time. I'd definitely stay at the Arago312 again. Very accommodating staff always available when needed. Allowed us early entry on arrival and stored our luggage on day of departure. Accommodation worked perfectly for 6 female relations sharing. Sat night hot water ran out after 2 showers otherwise a cannot fault. Great Location fab bakery opposite small shop below and metro round corner. We had amazing stay and would go back. They are clean and well-equipped apartments in the heart of Barcelona. Girona metro station is almost 3 minutes on foot. Nevertheless, what we found was that the taxi fare to Plaza de España and many other interesting sites in Barcelona was very attractive, usually in the range of 5-10 eur, so for a group of 3-4 people, taxi might sometimes be as economical as metro. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear the feint rumbling of the metro that runs up to midnight and starts early in the morning. Loved everything!. There was nothing not to like. I didn't have the instructions on how to use the laundry, but I simply touch all the buttons hihihi. Would have been good if there was a hair-dryer there. Very strange design - all in white and ascetic. Very costly in high season. The walls in apartmen are dirty. Nothing. Very minor flaw: they lacked a hair dryer. no english on the tv. could maybe supply salt and pepper. nothing really was bad!. Lack of parking. The only thing we didn't like was that there was no one at the location when we arrived. I had given notice in advance that we would be arriving sometime at 9a on Sunday, and when we arrived, we couldn't get in to to drop our bags. Sonja arrived after 10:30a, and was very helpful once we were inside. Nothing. None. Nothing. Everything was grat. No toilet paper!, Shower could scald you as suddenly went very hot and flew off the wall! No fire exit!!! We were evacuated in the middle of the night, false alarm, but if not we would have been fried!!!. No permanent reception and you may have to wait a bit for personnel to you in check in. We had noisy neighbours one night but that is not the fault of the managers it was a group of inconsiderate people at 4 am. Not much to complain about. Was quite noisy as it was at a junction, but did not spoil the stay. Check-out at 11.00.
