The transfer to and from the airport was easy and cheap as the hotel is directly opposite a RENFE station. Hotel spotless with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Inclusion of a very substantial breakfast made the booking even better value.

I just loved this apartment, which was on the second floor of this building (or third of you're American). As an apartment building with a reception area (which is quite rare in my experience), it was super convenient. Andrea speaks English superbly, spent time with us to explain the apartment and how to best see the city and even arranged our taxi out to the airport when we left. She even waved us off! Lovely! Nice location, a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, the hotel is located on the main street of El Born, and you have a supermarket, bakery and a tobacco shop really close by. Both room and bathroom were in excellent condition, and although on a busy street balcony doors and curtains ensured a comfy dark and quiet night's rest.

Out stay was very short as our train into Barelona was three hours late, along with some other travel problems, so we really only slept in the beds and used the shower, we would of loved to have had more time as we really liked the view and the balcony, unfurtunately our stay turnede out to be for only a few hours, it was nice though we both slept
