Nice location, a lot of bars and restaurants in the area, the hotel is located on the main street of El Born, and you have a supermarket, bakery and a tobacco shop really close by. There are a few bars just beneath the balcony so its a little bit noisy during the evening, even though we liked it, it feels like you are in the middle of things. The apartment is comfortable, you have everything you need... Great apartment, great location!! El Born is our favourite part of Barcelona....
all reviews » We had a fantastic stay in Barcelona at our little studio apartment! It was very cute and located in the perfect spot for a young couple. I cannot remember the name of the man who welcomed us, but he provided us with a map and some great recommendations for what to do and see. Saw a lot of great spots in the downtown area I might have otherwise missed. Great value for the money and an adorable little flat. Perfect for a short stay and I would happily return!. Lovely apartment with exposed brick walls and large balcony with view over the street (some of the apartments had smaller balconies); in a very lively area (you could sit on the balcony and watch the world go by or wander down and join in); very convenient location within walking distance of the older part of town and also the harbour; there are bars, cafes and restaurants all on the doorstep. I loved our view, we were on the first floor so we had our own terrace and balcony! Andrea met us at the apartment and was do helpful, gave us maps and some advice! Stayed here with my friend, we loved the location, windows and doors well insulated so we never heard any house from the street!! Have recommended this as a place to stay for all my friends and family!! It was perfect!!!!. Apartment is amazing!!! located in a surprising area in Barcelona old city. a lot of bars and restaurants around this area so you wont have to go all the way to Passeig de Gracia for a decent restaurant. beach is not so far away. We were on the first floor and had our own private balcony - just beautiful. Location, location, location... Very nice studio with balcony in the heart of El Born neighborhood. A little noisy on weekend nights but we didn't go to Barcelona to sleep. Some people might find it noisy at night, but that's part of the attraction of the area. Maybe some fresh towels!. No parking available around the property. We stayed at the 5th floor which was a bit challenging with luggage. No lift and the stairs were very narrow. We were glad we were on the first floor. Nothing, exactly what we were looking for. Our apartment was on the 4th floor was told before hand that there was no lift but did not realise how steep and windey they would be , got fitter by the end of our stay!!. Nothing you could fix. The headroom on the stairwell was a bit tight, and it was very narrow. But that is trivial. Old accumulated dust in some 'dead´ corners of the studio. No elevator: access to floors very difficult (steep and narrow stairs). Stairs may be undesireable for people who aren't in good physical condition. The narrow stairway. Lack of privacy in the bathroom. Stairs very tight & winding, noise level excessive, no maid service/clean towels. The air conditioner smelt and so with the windows open it was rather noisy. Trying to find the office before checking in but we can blame the sat nav.
