The room was clean with first class accessories. The buffet breakfast exceeded anything I imagined for quality and plentitude of selection. We loved the location of the hotel; the Born district is beautiful and we could walk everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for suggestions for dinner and a taxi for the airport. I highly recommend it. An excellent location... within walking distance of different and varied areas of the city. The transfer to and from the airport was easy and cheap as the hotel is directly opposite a RENFE station. Hotel spotless with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Inclusion of a very substantial breakfast made the booking even better value.

The room was small by USA stnadards but very clean and modern with a flat screen tv with three English channels. the staff was wonderful to us always taking the time to show us subway and bus routes. Air condition and flat screen TV available.The location was great. Was in a shopping area so it was quiet enough after hours but still within walking distance of the major sights. I appreciate the attitude of taking care of the environment by not sending the towles everyday to the laundry. However, although we did not throw the the towels on the floor they were exchanged to new ones which to me is a sign of that the cleaning staff has not been informed about the importance of this policy but rather exchange all the laundry to avoid the risk of complaints. We was there twice fist time on the second floor and in the second timewe were in the 6 floor and there were no bargs so in was scary to lookout from the window. the safe in our room needed a battery towork and no one came to fix it during our two day stay. However the desk clerks cheerfully allowed us to put valuables in the safe behined the front desk. We also got a very nice breakfast buffet included each morning. Don't drink the tapwater.Nothing really. They did have some intermittent problem with bbcon the tv. Nothing - everything excellent - will definately recommend to family and friends! will return! (Suitable for young and old). There was considerable amounts of noise right outside my window at night, as the hotel is located at many bars etc. The noise made sleeping difficult and opening the windows, as I prefer, was consequently not an option. The breakfast room was to small.Check out took too long. waited in a long queue for twenty minutes with one member of staff serving. Another member of staff sat watching whilst using the compute instead of helping. There could have been more variety in the breakfast. At least some fruits and vegetables would have been nice.A very small point but some leaflets with information about Barcelonaand tourist information available in reception would have been nice. We had some trouble with the AC but it was resolved after 2 days.Cnn news or nhk news was not avaulable. Just a minor question: room service did not change a burnt-out lightbulb during 3 days. It was not working when I arrived, and still notworking after 3 days.Breakfast only started at 7am, while I would have preferred 6 for when I had an early departure. too much noise come from outside during night. Breakfast staff on the last day (Wednesday 12th March) were inefficient compared to previous 4 days. Could not get a second cup of coffee and the hot food self service unit had run out of food, yet nobody was available to check and refill anything?. Last morning I felt smell from bathroom pipes. The cleanliness could be better. We had a room close to the street in front of the elevator, a small andtoo noisy room, we asked for a new room and get a quiet one. breakfast room quite busy - it always took some time to get a second cup of coffee from the single staff member serving, but he obliged willingly.
