  The Pisani is an amazing hotel of old world charm and relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful furniture and surroundings made for the perfect stay. It was a perfect place to sit and sip Prosecco while watching the tourists drift by on their Gondolas. There a few nice little restaurants nearby and a great patisserie with a huge range of delicious macaroons (and other - My 17yr son and I loved staying at Palattezzo Pisani because it was a real Venice experience ( unlike the previous boring Venitian hotel where we wouldn't have know which continent it was on). The Pasani is an actual old Palace (yes it's got plumbing and hot water!!) you can hear the waves from boats washing onto the building, see the Grand Canal out your window and have breakfast or just 'chill' in the most amazing old rooms.   The location is perfect. The staff, especially main guy (goatee guy), were v. helpful and friendly. They arranged our gondola ride and answered our questions fully. The bathroom was clean and seemed new except for the broken shower door (it still worked, but was coming apart). Our towels were changed daily and our maid even folded our pjs on our p... what people say » illows! :) It was wonderfully quiet and peaceful. - the hotel was perfect great price, we split a four bedroom room with some students from my school and it was exactly what we wanted right in the center of venice easy to get to and clean.

  The staff there was attentive and extremely helpful. They carried our bags up the stairs (yes, stairs, no elevator), but what do you expect for a smaller and quiet little nest out in the heart of Venice. Wifi is free and its fast!!! There's a few floors but with only a few rooms, meaning its not loud; you can sleep in peace, and quiet. Go explore:) - The apartment is huge and the owner was so friendly and helpful. The apartment is marketed for 4 people but could easily sleep 6. Also it was only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Not the most stylish of places but it was clean and spacious.
