We liked the manager Elisabeth/?/- helpful, speaking good English. The rest of staff was less efficient. The hotel map is very helpful, except a few confusing mistakes: 14 is Guggenheim, not Goldoni, 13 is wrong too. Please, review your map. - location was good. We loved that it was so easy to get to and from the Realto Bridge for arrivals and departures and for additional day trips... It was wonderful to be able to walk to and fro to San Marco's Square and despite the close proximity, the price was very reasonable.

The staff could not do enough for us and treated us like silk worms. Nothing was a problem. Directions, hints, tips and must see all explained thoroughly. I was nervous about getting from the airport on our own, but the directions were very clear and the hotel easy to find. The location was perfect between the Rialto and St Marco square-we couldn't have picked better! Very impressed with how friendly the staff are and how welcomed we felt. The room looked just like the photo on the website and

Generator was a great place to stay in Venice. Even though it is on Giudecca, there is a vaporetto stop near the hostel and getting to St. Mark's Square is quick and easy. Staff were generally helpful and made a special effort to help us locate a lost piece of luggage at the airport. We stayed in a 4 bed with an en suite bathroom that was clean, s

They helped me to charge my phone when my cable got broken.
Very comfortable beds with lights that don't disturb others. Quite cheap, good breakfast for additional price.
It was a half-populated 16 person dorm, but it was comfortable to stay there.
It is on a separate island from the city center, but public transport is working all the night so it's not a problem.

Location was excellent . Our room had a canal view which was unique. Noisy if windows open but new windows shut out the noise. Very clean and looked like the picture. Location within Venice was great, less than 5 min walk to Rialto Bridge.
Room was a great size, with instantly hot shower - have heard that in
Venice you can get both a small room and bad water pressure but no
issues on this side. Staff very helpful, we got to check in early as the
room was ready and they kept our bags safe on the last day until late at
night. Also ate in the restaurant which was good food, staff here more
than helpful as the terrace flooded during high tide and they piggy

The best hotel I've been in Italy. No doubt. Loved the hotel, loved the staff, loved our room. It even had a small and unexpected jacuzzi. It was further away then what was promised on bookings.com , not a problem though, since there was a small vaporino shuttle running whenever we need it to - even late at night!! Would stay there again and again.

- The staff was really nice
- The Location was charming! I loved the quitness of the island.
- The breakfast is quite sober but good enough for us!
- Keep in mind that you will have to travel with a vaperetto (waterbus) from venice to a seperate island! Trip will take 20 minutes and than you will have to walk for 15 minutes (or make an appointment with the hotel for a free shuttle service! The walk is nice so we didn't use this service).
- Don't expect luxury, just a place to sleep!
