  very charming hotel in the heart of old trieste, close to the pedestrian zone full of interesting shops and good local restaurants. the place is run by a very friendly and very helpfull family with an eclectic taste for furniture, creating a unique timeless style, at the same time classic and very contemporary. i can only highly recommend this pla... what people say » ce for people who know how to appreciate the simplicity of elegance and beauty. breakfast is for italian standarts very generous and rich in variety. - Everything. Trieste is a beautiful town and this is a beautiful place. The room I had was large, thoughtfully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location was brilliant, the staff were lovely, breakfast was beautiful and featured local produce, there's a crazy lovely naughty puppy dog who was great, it's across the road from a lovely osteria called Marise (go!)... I would love to stay in this place forever. I wish all hotels were like this.

  The hotel was very nice inside and the rooms were very clean. It is only a 10 minute bus ride from the city center--the bus station and train station--with the bus stop being 100 yards away from the hotel. The hotel staff was very willing to help us with any questions we had about getting around the city.
