  I don't leave reviews often, but this one is definitely worth it. Brilliant location - just 2 minutes walk to the historic city center, perfect price - the best we found among reasonably centrally located ones, spacious, clean, nice rooms and you can even make yourself tea on a common kitchen and use owner's PC with internet, nice breakfast with p... what people say » lenty of choice. Though the most important bit - the owner is the friendliest guy ever, extremely helpful and ready to go an extra mile for you, speak - Antonio, the owner, is a superb host. He goes the extra mile to be helpful and make your stay a good one, helping with suggestions of what to do, where to eat, and did not hesitate to help with information about travel arrangements. The location was ideal for someone with a car, just two blocks from Ortygia and plenty of free parking available. The street was quiet, the room large and, although the decorations are very basic, very comfortable and very clean.

There was so much choice... including homemade pastry from the owner's nonna. Delicious! I would definitely come back here.

The owners were wonderful - Alphonsa spoke excellent English having lived in Canada for a period of time so we had great conversations with her about Sicily. Very helpful, jovial, ready to assist in whatever requirement, without being intrusive. The place is a little oasis in the middle of what seems to be nowhere but in reality is just a 10mins drive to Ortigia, being therefore close to town.
