  We were very impressed by La Girandola. It is only 3 or 4 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport platform at Roma Termini, which is so convenient. The Hotel is outstandingly clean and nicely decorated. Our room had wifi, a safe and a refrigerator and very comfortable twin beds. There was a continental breakfast which was good and having it a bit ah... what people say » ead of the scheduled time to enable us to get to the Airport in time for our flight was no problem at all. The owner, Guglielmo, was so friendly and - Very friendly owner who made us a coffee when we arrived and showed us the main attractions on the map. Owner spoke only a little English but we muddled through and was part of the experience. Nice spacious room. Excellent double glazed windows meant it was quiet at night even in a busy and noisy area. Location was excellent with all sites within walking distance and the train and metro stations 5 mins walk away. I would stay here again if I ever returned to Rome and would have no hesitation i

  When we arrived, we had the pleasant surprise to get an upgrade from a normal room to a studio (with kitchenette). The room is very comfortable and spacious enough.. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and nice (though we arrived at about 11am, our room was ready). The neighborhood is safe, lively - The lady welcoming us was wonderful catered for all our needs which was sadly only one overnight stay .We had our son with us who unfortunately had broken his leg 5 days beofre and in cast on crutchesno lift was a challenge but we coped and enjoyed the stay in our neat room .Supplied coffee facilities and personal key to get back in for Ah energency .Would recommend the view to coloseumwas awesome other sites wallking distance and we were given good tips for transport and resturants BelFredDrew

  I stayed at Hotel Desiderio for nine nights and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The bed is perfect and the sheets are very clean. The meal was the best - The Location was excellent for getting to the heart of Rome and a short walk to the rail station or bus system, or taxis. There were things to see and do as well as affordable eating places nearby. The breakfast was wonderful compared to what other hotels offered for breakfast. But the hotel staff was simply outstanding. I would definitely look forward to staying there the next time I visit Rome.

  We have spent in Morelli our honeymoon and everything was very nice! The location is very good! The room was comfortable, not noisy, cleaning was done every day! Breakfast was quite simple (served in our room), but it was no problem, cause there was a fridge in our room to keep our products. The hosts of the hotel ordered us a taxi to pick us from... what people say » the airport and it was also very comfortable! (47Euro whereas ordinary price in taxiservice is from 48Euro). Don't forget to take a mini-kettle with - I love the cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Do not miss those! The location is pretty strategic with Via Veneto just a 5-minute walk away. At first I had my misgivings about the safety of the area as I was on my own, but I think it is much better compared to those nearer to Termini.
