  The location - just round the corner from the Duomo: from the terrace there was a clear view to the Duomo, Baptistry and the Campanile. The room was very good, well furnished and with plenty of space. The staff couldn't have been more helpful; they suggested possible places to eat - we only went to one of them, which was so outstanding (and good v... what people say » alue) that we went back. - Silvia who we met on arrival was wonderful helping us with parking arrangements for our car . She made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant on the opposite side of the Arno river where we had the best meal in Florence. Excellent cappuccino for Breakfast on the terrace facing the Duomo wow what a view. The location is absolutely fantastic

  Overall a good welcome, helpful reception staff who offered us a choice of rooms on arrival. Comfortable accommodation, well kept and clean. Good location. Breakfast was good in next door restaurant, although basic. - Most of the staff spoke English which helped.   All in all, just perfect. We felt privileged to stay in this gem of a place. Superb in all the ways possible. The hosts, the whole family, are just amazingly wonderful people (plus the lovely and friendly dog "Fez") who made our visit to the Castello di San Fabiano and to Tuscany exquisite. We couldn't have asked for more and Castello di San Fabia... what people say » no surpassed our expectations. The location is excellent - a 20 minute drive from Siena and from a short distance to all the relevant places in Tusca - We LOVED our stay at the castle. Beatrice and Andrea are the most gracious hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. On a Mon Wed and Fri Beatrice prepares a home made 3 course meal that is simply sublime. It was the highlight to our trip to Italy and with the castle being so centrally located so as to explore the surrounding villages. We WILL be back!

  We stayed in L'arangeto 2 nights ,and it was really very good:)the rooms are large and very clean.location of the hotel is also very nice.by walk it takes max.20 min.,and by bus max.5 minutes to s.m Novella station.Beside these Mario(owner of the guest house)is so kind and gives information of the city very well like a guide:)Mario !!
