Nice hotel. We had an amazing view. It's old, it's Italian, don't have the highest expectations. AC didn't get cool in our room, but it's was around 75F so not too bad. Parking is really minimal. Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh.
Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable.
No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by.

Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

fantastic hotel in an authentic villa, the view faboulous, the restourant fantastic - Very nice hotel, but the air conditioning was off for the season and this was not comfortable as it was quite warm and humid. They did not appear to want to turn it on for us.
