  Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Just use the coordinates you receive from Balarte or the 'location on the map'-feature in your TomTom. letsbookhotel.comsite gives you the exact location. Also Balarte signs on roads close by. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up before the Ger... what people say » mans. It has a lot of space, but that comes at a price. Be aware that it is not v close to any town and it can be hard to find, even with a satnav. - the weather, beautiful designed hotel

  Very modern hotel. No parking with hotel, but parking in the street next to hotel was no issue. Plenty of space and a quiet road (except for Thursdays when there is a market). Room was very modern and clean. - We could park next to the hotel in the square. Rooms very clean and convenient.
