  We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily! On breakfast there were some fresh fruits in a buffet and good Italian coffee. Taormina is 10 mins away by car. Beach is 20 meters away. - Comfortable bed. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

  From the harbor we were picked up by the hotel. On arrival we got a drink, and our luggage was directly sent to our room. We got an upgrade to a room with sea view. The hotel has a great outdoor pool, and is well maintained. The hotel has two on site restaurant which are good. The hotel has a nice SPA.   The hotel really justifies it's name - it's some kind of paradise with a high level of comfort - the room was clean and smelled delicious, the breakfast was rich, with local natural food to taste.   I'm not much of a golf or spa person; I picked the place mainly on location and having an outdoor pool. The pool or should I say pools is great. Very big, so you can get a real swim even if there are kids cavorting around, and there's a longer separate pool if you really want to pound along. Plenty of sunbeds so no need to get up before the Ger... what people say » mans. It has a lot of space, but that comes at a price. Be aware that it is not v close to any town and it can be hard to find, even with a satnav. - the weather, beautiful designed hotel
