  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela!   Very friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us. Great location pretty much right on the seafront. Great facilities and nice rooms. We only stayed here as a last minute booking because our ferry to Malta got delayed but it turned out to be the best hotel we stated at during our whole journey to Malta. Pozzallo is a lovely little town which is well ... what people say » worth a visit. The townspeople are some of the nicest people in Italy. - The hotel Is owned by Enrico, who took care himself about everything during our stay. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable and hot cookies that were made just a few minutes before breakfast were just amazing with cappuccino. We were helped with taxi from airport and excellent transfer service to the Ferry in the morning. Will surely recommend this place to all travelers. Nick.

  Love love Love Modica so much. Love everything and everything at the hotel. We had such a wonderful time here. We arrived late due to travel from Palermo via public transport on Sunday. She was advising about the local restaurants, attra - A lovely old palazzo in the heart of Modica, technically a B&B but feels like a small hotel. A very different place to stay, full of character but skilfully adapted by the owners to provide modern facilities whilst retaining the charm and heritage of a terrific old building. And a cracking, and very reasonably priced, little osteria fifty metres across the road. Lovely, friendly and incredibly helpful owners who made us feel very much at home. A really nice, and unusual, place to stay.

The town itself is very busy with tourists so this was a big help. The charcter of the hotel derived a lot from its past as a monastery. The rooms were very clean if a bit austere but that's exactly what I expected. The staff were reserved but charming.

  The accommodation is very new, large and clean with excellent facilities. What made this place special were the hosts Giovanni and his wife. They were so extremely helpful and arranged a trip to etna for myself and my wife along with finding out about all the local transport. This was by far the nicest place we stayed and is in the middle of a bea... what people say » utiful little area of farmland.   Owner was most helpful and provided the best restaurant recommendation we have EVER had! How the food was supplied at the quality and price I still don't understand. The location seems a bit dodgy at first glance but it is metres from the main drag leading to the atmospheric historical highlights. The small balcony outside my bedroom was one of the highlights of my stay- stayed up half the night watching the activities on the plaza outside.

  I stayed at GH Garibaldi 3 nights with my fiance and it was a wonderful place. The lady helping us was sweet and even though she had some problems with english we managed quiet alright. we had a lovely terrasse and lived in a beautiful part of the town very close to water. - Kitchen is Ok, so you can make dinner yourself: pan, cup and everything ... what people say » you need for cooking is in the kitchen. Breakfast is good and rich. Location is close to the sea promenade. Food shops are nearby. Recommend this hotel only if you want to spend one night in it.
