Fantastic view from the private terrace over Cannigione. We stayed in 2 rooms, both clean and comfortable. The room with a private terrace is a must, so stay in this room if you can, it is worth it. Excellent location, boat trips from the harbour, bars and restaurants just down the hill. Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Asfodeli. Starting with the staff who went out of their way to assist, secondly the rooms and facilities including the pool are beautiful. Thirdly, we explored the local area by bike which we rented from the hotel and were offered itineraries and delicious packed lunches.
