We travelled to Arbatax at the end of the season so the hotel was very quiet. Having said that there were no compromises on the services we were offered and the room we stayed in was fantastic. -

Great location! Very nice owners and the room was lovely and comfortable. It is on a quiet little pedestrian street with very cool graffiti. You wouldn't know it was a B&B but when you open the door it's this little haven. Everything was wonderful. We stayed in the Oltremare room with sea view and terrasse. Each morning we enjoyed our good breakfast admiring the view and, each evening, we enjoyed the stars from the balcony.

Fantastic view from the private terrace over Cannigione. We stayed in 2 rooms, both clean and comfortable. The room with a private terrace is a must, so stay in this room if you can, it is worth it. Excellent location, boat trips from the harbour, bars and restaurants just down the hill. When returning after a night out, tea lights illuminate the B&B, little things like this make a difference to your stay. Ingrid our host was great, she did all she could to make our stay enjoyable. My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013.
As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful.
To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. I have been to Italy alone

Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Asfodeli. Starting with the staff who went out of their way to assist, secondly the rooms and facilities including the pool are beautiful. Thirdly, we explored the local area by bike which we rented from the hotel and were offered itineraries and delicious packed lunches.
