I asked for a double-bed on the booking form and when we arrived, this was confused for 2 separate single beds. (For reference, use 'king' or '1 large bed'). We stayed at Onda Marina for Sun & Bass festival. The hotel was lovely and clean, one of the best in the area. The staff were very friendly, and there was always someone on reception happy to help. Breakfast was continental and served its purpose. Although there is no restaurant in the hotel, there is an excellent restaurant directly opposite which guests of the hotel receive a discount for. The owner of the apartments was always happy to help us out with any requests we had. We stayed in an apartment with sea views and it was fantastic. We can't wait to stay there again. centre of town. Lots of restaurants, bars and ice cream shops nearby and
easily walking distance from the bus stop (where the airport bus drops
you). I don't normally stay in hostels but we (group of 3) had to

Considering the position and the price, you will not find anything better in Alghero. It's barely at 10-15 minutes of slow walking from the historical city center, 10 minutes from the sea. Overall it feels like your are taking a vacation, while still living at your home. Not to mention the marvelous homemade sweets served for breakfast...
