We were near the museums, countryside and within a reasonable drive to Rome. We especially loved the restaurant on site for breakfast and dinners. This family owned b - lovely 22 room hotel in residential area or Tarquinia. 10mins uphill walk to old walled town which was wonderful and a bus ride to the beach which wasn't that nice. The food in the hotel is superb and has an excellent chef. Hotel arranged a taxi from our ship in Civitecchia and again to take us to Rome Airport. Not anywhere to walk so would recommend a car as its a lovely region.

  Only about 45 minutes from Rome this hotel is an excellent escape into the countryside. It is somewhat remote but in a beautiful relaxing atmosphere with lovely rooms and an excellent restaurant.   We got an upgrade to an excellent room. The staff were extremely nice and helped us with our Italian. Barbara was especially nice and made our reservation at the Borgese gallery. Everything was excellent and the staff could not have been better. - very nice, good location, excellent breakfast although they should reduce the charge for children

  I liked everything about the hotel. It looks quite new, very well-kept, clean rooms with balconies overlooking the beach. All staff was very nice and polite and I had no problem communicating in English. And the best thing, of course, is the location. I loved that the beach was right under my balcony. Everything is a 10-15 min ride away. But wit - Breakfast was wonderful, and the restaurant had a beautiful sea-view. The room was comfortable and had a large balcony with a great view of the sea. The price was better than staying in Rome, and it was a truly relaxing experience. I will surely return.
