Excellent location. - Rome is a great place to visit,we found the Romans friendly people but bad drivers(some insults were transmitted),having rented bikes made all the difference to visit the city,amazingly few people cycle around,the food is great ... what people say » and the historical mambojambo is absolutely brilliant,staying in the middle of a city does mean you get woken by loud Italian men in the morning.....and they say women talk!!!....duh...   What an amazing hotel! Very friendly owner who was knowledgeable and helpful. Although the area was a little rough around the edges, it was always pretty busy and as 2 girls travelling together, always felt safe. Also, there is a huge door on the street which once you were inside made you feel extra secure, so would recommend highly to any females... what people say » travelling either alone or as a group. Really comfortable beds, we had the best view of outside as we were on the corner. Excellent aircon which was - Although it is said that this part of Rome is not so safe, the location of the hotel was perfect. Not for one moment we felt unsafe. It's a 15 minute walk to the ancient centre of Rome and Termini station. Metro station, right under the hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and very clean room. Good typical Italian breakfast, deliverd to your room.

  They went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Loved the room and the fact that there was an accessible laptop for guests and a phone in our room. We had a glitch with our cell service and did not have access to our own phone on the trip so this was very helpful. Room was great! Clean, homey, attractively decorated, comfortabl... Our host, when hearing that we would not be available when he normally brought guests breakfast, brought us breakfast groce - It is hard to evaluate this place, as there were a few problems with our stay. We arrived early and left our bags, but were only able to do that because the cleaning lady was there. When we returned after a long day, the manager did not answer knocking on his door. I walked over 4 blocks to find someone who would help me call him -- he answered the phone call and my rescuer worked out getting me in. He was very nice, but didn't speak any English - we didn't speak any Italian, so there were some

  This place was lovely. Excellent value for money and delightful management. The small water heater for the shower was my only slight gripe, but the rest of the place was lovely. - The host was very helpful and friendly,we would stay there again !   Our two day visit coincided with their first day of operation this year and the weather was lousy. But the place was so nicely appointed and the host so accomodating that we completely enjoyed our stay. Our host Rino put out a complete and delightful breakfast and then allowed us to use his large diniing table all day to assemble a picture puzzle.... what people say » The building was completely remodeled only two years ago and is kept immaculate. The internet was supplied by cable to the small desk in our room (fa - B & B is situated outside Anzio, but there is both train and bus connexion to town. Nice beach vith fish restaurants.
