  Perfect hotel, very friendly staff, clean and very comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and warm pool. It takes some time (15 minutes) to reach the sea. But for us it was positive moment - it is so nice to have walk.   Antonietta and Giovanna were the perfect hosts from start to finish. Their staff including Nico, Diego and Paulo were always very polite, pleasant and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Antonietta, Giovanna and their staff!! The hotel looks great and our room was clean and a good size with a patio area leading to the garden. Whils... what people say » t the pool area is not huge, it was very clean and extremely well decorated. All in all, Orsa Maggiore is a beautiful hotel with excellent owners and - Orsa Maggiore was a beautiful stop for us on our honeymoon. I would request a room Oceanside (beautiful sunsets). The rooms are clean and pretty, but here, you are paying for the views and a great design of a pool area! The staff are also all very nice and helpful! They made good dinner recommendations and always offered to shuttle you around the island (this is quite helpful if you know Capri) and the wifi connection is good. Also-the free breakfast is plentiful!

  It was centraly located but close to the sea with amazing views. The staff were very helpfull. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel and our bedroom were spotless. Would definatly reccomend to anyone. - the elegance and location of this hotel was a high point.a complete breakfast was included and it was delicious

  Nice style, very nice position. The staff are always been kind and the service is nice. - The hotel is really new and opened since few days. Is visible that organization must be improved. Anyway the hotel is really in the center of Sorrento.

  Great view to the sea. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We stayed only for 2 nights but we had the chance to take part to a traditional Ischian evening - a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. Free shuttle bus to the beach. Transfer to the ferry very early in the morning - not expensive.   Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. Constantly helping us with whatever we needed- drinks in hand, towels for the pool, reserving chairs at the po... what people say » ol, ordering snacks, etc, he genuinely seemed to care about the hotel as if it was his family staying there. We also lucked out and were given a free - The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

  We were treated like royalty... the owners of the hotel, a family, helped us with all our tourism questions, they accomodated all our needs, and then offered even more! Our stay could not have been any better. They made us feel like part of their family! It was just wonderful! The room was lovely and the view breathtaking! The rooftop pool was truly an oasis! The parking was an unexpected blessing after driving the Amalfi and seeing how scarce it is.   Hotel Continental was beautiful! The lobby and public areas were first class and the room was beautiful as well. The bathroom was very big especially for European standards. They had a nightly turn-down service which was so nice and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. We actually walked from - Our room was lovely with the sea view balcony. And it was not just any sea view, it was the fantastic blue Mediterranean with Vesuvius. One could have gazed it 24/7! The staff was incredibly friendly everywhere: reception, restaurant, bar, the cleaning ladies. Always with a big smile and a friendly comment. The hotel itself is lovely with its feeling of the old days but updated for today. Its location could not have been better with a view to dream of and a short way to everywhere in Sorrent
