  My husband and I and his elderly parents stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Paolo and the rest of the staff were wonderful and very helpful throughout our stay. I would go back again and highly recommend the hotel. Information about the local historical sites to visit was very useful. There is a bus stop and train station both 5 minutes away which will take you to all the historical sites.   This is the best place we've stayed in Amalfi. The owner is a spectacular lady - she loaned us a map of the Path of the Gods and recommended plenty of hikes which proved to be no less spectacular than the Path of the Gods. I would take my family back to this Albergo - absolutely loved i - Fantastic location. On the main piazza with a view onto the Duomo. The double glazing meant that most of the noise was cut out and we slept pretty well there. Italian style breakfast, with warm rolls and croissants. They also offered us juice and yoghurt.

  The property is a great vacation getaway. It has everything from nice clean rooms, nice scented soaps and lotions, strong Internet connectivity and good food and wine. The main area is very relaxing and creatively decorated for a great place to hang out.   Maria Pia and Michel, who run this place, are two of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Warm, friendly, helpful and considerate (I'll come to that in a bit), they make up for all the shortcomings of the hotel itself. Once inside (and up the steep staircase), it is a wonderful experience. Back to Michel and Maria Pia - they were very informativ - Basic accommodation but very clean. No stinking carpets here but easy to clean tiles in room and bathroom. Clean good bed with proper pillows. All you need when you spend most of the day in town. The people where very friendly and provided a lot of information about Naples and had good tips about the public transport.
