  The hotel is made up of about 20-30 rooms which are dotted all around the village. The rooms have been renovated to a very good standard with all the right facilties available. The village is extremely unique and I would recommend it to anyone for 2 or 3 days max. If you find steps difficult then maybe it's not for you. If you bring a car then drive through the village and temporarily park it opposite the ro - Absolutely wonderful setting, tastefully decorated rooms, original concept ( with rooms dotted around the village in different houses), good breakfast in beautiful room. The locality is a spectacular example of a hill top village, clinging to the hillside with a rabbit warren of narrow streets, steps, arcade/tunnels, alleys, etc between the old stone buildings, with a collection of small mural artworks here and there on the walls.

  Just came back fro a totally relaxing 24 hrs. in amazing Apricale. Stayed at Apricus Locanda which was EVEN better than I had hoped. From the stunning view from our lovely terrace, to the lovely decorated room, and to top it all,breakfast in front of an open fire!!! Jeanette, the owner, is very welcoming and obviously loves her Apricus Locanda and... what people say » Apricale. Allthough Apricale is traffic free, since Apricus is at the bottom of the village, one can park right in front of the building. We were ple - Great service, as soon as I made the booking, I got an e-mail from Jeanette, the owner, with instructions to get there and she waited outside on the street to show me the way in. The room was great for a one-night break, very quiet and nicely-decorated with a lovely balcony overlooking the valley, the bathroom was also freshly done-up. Breakfast was simple but did the job, with tasty and fresh ingredients, especially the bread. Jeanette was very interesting to chat to, visibly enjoys her work a
