  This hotel is great value for money. In a nice central part of town. Parking is a great plus. If, for space reasons, the staff have ot move your car, it is back efficientkly when you need it. Reception staff are very accommodating. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with everything you could want, including eggs and bacon!   The location was great, within easy walking distance to Palermo city centre ............... also the view from our room (a front room over looking the harbour) was brilliant although the other couple we were travelling with got a room at the back of the hotel which over looked what appeared to be a shanty town. The area did appear rather dodgy but in reality was not although you have to factor in the noisy locals that gather in the square below.   Great hotel. Room we stayed in was huge, spotless and very clean. The bathroom was huge and spotless. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with an excellent variety of fuits and other staples. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.
