  Great find! Hotel is located in best section of town, within short walking distance of Port and downtown. A must if you have a car; parking in Palermo is all but impossible. The area did appear rather dodgy but in reality was not although you have to factor in the noisy locals that gather in the square below. Good firm superking sized bed in a standard room. A lot of the original stone had been built into the deisgn and was well done.Very quite. We had a back room 415 and with the shutters closed it was silent. In summer if you wanted to open the shutters there is an aircon machine nearby which is noisy.
