  We moved to la dimOra after staying at a local apartment on the same street. What immediately struck us was the great location. Corso Di Porta Ticinese is a great place to stay in when in Milan but la dimOra was located in an even quieter lane off the tram line just 100m away and very near to a great pizzeria and gelateria, as well as some eclecti... what people say » c shops! Carrefour Express was just 5 mins . away and was great for any supplies that you lacked. What impressed us upon checking in was the reception - The receptionist was really very helpful and spoke very good English. The apartment was spacious and had all that we wanted, and was new and had some great design elements. And it was especially good for travel with kids. The location was great. A pleasant walk or short tram ride to the centre of Milan and lots of interesting shops and restaurants close by. And it was in a VERY quiet street, which was great.

Very quiet area, no problem with sleeping (no noises outside) which is a big plus in such a big city which never sleeps.   We were greeted with warm smiles and a professional and efficient check in process. We were then driven to our accommodation by a friendly staff member. We were impressed by the gift basked of breakfast for the next morning as well as home baked biscuits as a welcome. It was good value for money for a young family and a perfect location in walking distance (or quick tram trip) into the cit - Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The staff gave us ample time to check-out and even kept our luggage at their office until we went to pick it up in the afternoon.
