The was a very small hotel with a homey atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location because it was off the beaten path and we had to actually walk and see other things to get places. If you don't like to walk you can always take a water taxi. This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen. It was in an apt building. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Not a standard hotel. Just a room in someones apt building in venice. The outside of the building looked like I had made a mistake by booking the room but judging a book by its cover is never fair. A great stay for a night in the middle of Venice. Easy access to water taxi, San Marcos Square, and anywhere else really. I would definitely stay here again.
