The was a very small hotel with a homey atmosphere. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. We loved the location because it was off the beaten path and we had to actually walk and see other things to get places. If you don't like to walk you can always take a water taxi. The rooms were nice, clean and you get served a nice complementary breakfast each morning. Very affordable as well!.

Breakfast was simple but perfectly adequate with fruit juice, breads and pastries, jams, marmalade, honey and cereals. This small hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend.peaceful and romantic surroundings, near public transport. fantastic, spacious, well-heated room with ample facilities and storage space. excellent service, good breakfast, very pleasant stay, will definitely recommend. Fabio and his staff were very warm and friendly.It was only about 15 minutes walk from the station,in a quiet location but near to the main artery into Cannaregio and the rest of Venice. The room was very comfortable.Very intim the hotel, closed with the railway station (7 minute walk), very clean rooms and very polite staff. I did enjoyed staying to this small and confortable hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and give it a resounding 9/10. For 50 Euro extra you can get a gorgeous 4 star hotel that is much more central. Also, the breakfast is a bit sparse.Breakfast was so-so, only some bread/crossiants, and cereal. The mainthing I didn't like about the hotel was how hard it was to find.Although it was about 600m straight-line distance from the main trainstation, you actually had to walk a big detour to reach it following thecanals. My main reason for booking this hotel was its proximity to thestation...so this was a big letdown. Rooms were noisy due to wooden floors throughout the building.
