At first we thought that it's pretty far from all the sights, but then we recognized that location is really great - calm tourist-free zone and close to all the atrractions.   We stayed at the B&B Hotel Roma Trastevere twice during our visit to Italy. Overall, we thought the accommodations provided a lot of value for the money. Our first room was quite small, with a very tiny bathroom, but comfortable overall. The tram to the city center is right outside of the hotel, making it convenient to get to the heart of Rome... what people say » in no time and the Trastevere train station is also a short walk away. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly. There are budget friendly cafes - It´s really close to the Trastevere railway station with the direct connection to the airport which is relatively fast and very comfortable. The hotel is brand new and in modern style, mattresses are perfect and the rooms are cleaned every day. Towels and toilet paper included:) Be aware of the code on the door which you must not forget. The receptionist will write it for you on the card which you have by yourself all the time which is also convenient so you don't ask the staff every time you

  We had not wanted to stay right in the centre of the city the situation of this hotel was great, nice and relaxing after walking all day.   We thought the staff were courteous and helpful. The setting of the hotel, slightly out of the centre of Rome, but close to the Metro was perfect.
