  Valter was very helpful in trying to give us directions to various areas of interest in Rome. The location was perfect for walking to all the historic sites. The Colosseum was so close we walked by it many times and got to see it lit up at night . Gorgeous! There are many restaurants and coffee shops near by. The area felt very safe. Very accommodating and friendly owners - nothing too much trouble. Good value for money and the kitchen facility was great and the personal touch was appreciated after a month of travelling and staying in impersonal hotels.Would definitely recommend.

  La Rotella nel Sacco is a lovely house with comfortable and thoughtfully decorated rooms. Margherita and her mother could not have been more friendly. They are charming, friendly, helpful hosts who gave us a wealth of information about Rome. But the best of the place is the owner - Margherita, our lovely host. Very helpful, open-minded, speaking fluently english, french, explaining us everything we need to know: buses, where is the supermarket, where to go to eat, etc. We have felt like visiting an old, good friend in Rome :)

  Unfortunately we had problems with other booking so we did reservation in Residence the same evening we arrived. The reception has been already closed but manager came from home to organize check in. The day of departure we called manager to ask about a possibility to leave our luggage and because we were with small kids they allowed to stay until... what people say » the evening without additional charge.
