  You probably wont find a hotel which treats you nicer in Florence. The hotel is small but the location is excellent. The staff and in particular the manager is exceptionally friendly and sincerely wants you to have a good stay (more than you can say about many 4-5 star hotels). I will never stay any place else when going to Florence (business or pl... what people say » easure) - We found the staff at Hotel Balcony extremely helpful and accommodating. The value for our money was great and the location was perfect. Breakfast was simple but very tasty and there was a very nice restaurant next door for lunch or dinner. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

  I booked a double room for just 2 pax initially but one day before arrival 2 more friends decided to join us. Luckily our room has two sofa beds, so able to accommodate 4 of us. Will - Novella House is renovated 1800s apartment house with original frescos on the ceilings. It is impossible to roll your luggage into the hotel but fortunately the owner took our bags up into the room (there is a small lift). Our room was spacious with a decent bed; there was a sitting area for tea and coffee, but the bathroom was so tiny, it had a foldaway shower. The room itself is quiet but outside the window you have the typical Italian street noise, maybe more so as there is a boarding house
