  We were positively surprised when we saw our room, it was much bigger than any ordinary three/four stars hotel, everything was clean, nicely designed. The bathroom is separated from the room, but it's just across the corridor, with everything you need. The breakfast was served in the dining room, with plenty of things to choose and the fridge full... what people say » if yogurts and dairy products. We were very satisfied to stay there, the Place is quiet, close to colosseum(from Domus Carmanello we walked basically - We arrived late and the owners were fine for us to check in late. They were both very friendly and gave us lots of info and the best ways to get around. The hotel is walking distance from the colosseum and roman forum and is also right next to Saint Giovanni metro for people who would prefer not to walk.   The location is very good, only 5 minutes walking from Manzini metro station (which is only 2 stations from Termini), and about 10-15 minutes the Colosseum, and the Forum on foot, or the tram no.3. The crew was very friendly (some of them were not too strong in english, but they were very helpful), the rooms are not big but very clean and comforta... what people say » ble with nice little terraces on the ground floor (and I think on the upper floors too). It was perfect to sit down on the terrace drinking a bottle o - The location (just 2 stops from Termini using the subway) offers a great starting point for many trips around Rome! Staff is super friendly! Breakfasts were delicious (don't expect loads of stuff, but rather some freshly baked croissants and other pastry, milk products and salami, fruits, eggs, muesli, etc.).   Clean, tidy room friendly staff and an ideal location close to supermarket, fast food or restaurants. 20min. walk to Termini and Colosseum. 2 mins to tram stop....... and all at a reasonable price. - Arco Romano Rooms is almost the best B&B one can find near the historical part of Rome.
