They kept our reservation even there was some kind of an issue with the credit card provided.

I like everything about this place. It is right at the centre of the city, close to the railway station, 10 minute walk to Colloseum and Roman Forum. The owner (Angelini?) gave us many good tips so we save money by not buying Rome Pass and going to really good and reasonably priced restaurants. The room is spacious and very new. We booked in here on the recommendation of friends we made in Sorento and we were not disappointed at all. Leonardo was so helpful, when we were at the wrong address, he came and "rescued" us. Not sure I want to provide a review about this place as it will be giving away a secret! I travel to Rome often and had to book this hotel at the last minute. I was pleasantly surprised. What struck me the most was the friendly nature of the family running this establishment. I can only describe it as old fashioned hospitality with a genuine smile. Bedroom was huge for mid city standards and shower was larger than most 5 star hotel.
