Breakfast in the room at whatever time you chose. All staff were excellent and friendly at all times - we had to leave at 7.00am and they ensured we had a tray of food with a kettle and a selection of coffee etc so we could have breakfast before we left. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Very good breakfast. Good internet connection.the fact that it was a short stay. nice location.superb location, easy to reach important places, walking distance to underground. The only comment I would make is that if I hadn't have readd on trip advisor that the hotel was in the same block as Hotel Miami ( where I've stayed previously) then it would have been extremely difficult to find as there is no signage outside.It wasn't made clear that the hotel was a bandb rather than a hotel so the breakfast was very poor. We had trouble finding the hotel. The signage could have been better.Breakfast was basic. Lift of the building,Lobby. We had a major problem on checkin. We had booked a taxi from the airport through the hotel at a cost of 60 Euros. Our flight was 4 hours late due to snow in Madrid. No taxi was waiting for us, so we got another one. At checkin the hotel insisted we pay the 60 Euros, we refused and a major argument ensued. It was only resolved by us threatening to use another hotel. Rooms could be cleaner, especially dust on furniture.I think the hotel should improve the reception's services. we were delayed due to a cancelled flight and the hotel charged us for the nights we had booked but were not there. i understand there is a cancellation policy but they had clearly rebooked the room in our absence and our no show was through no fault of our own.Environment. Wireless connection in the 4th floor does not work properly. Breakfast can be improved.We had a quad room which was a good size and very comfortable, but only had a small table to eat breakfast on - perhaps they could provide 2 tables when more than 2 people in the room. Nightmare to find. Not a sign anywhere until you're at the door which is5 floors up in a lift you can't see.The room and the bathroom both smelled of insecticide; although they'd insisted on informing them of the exact arrival time no one bothered to turn on the heating in the room prior to my arrival (mid February). I had booked a "superior room"; there was nothing exceptional about it. very very small room. 4th floor rooms are poor, needs to be renovated. I did not like the break fast becuase it isn't boffet, Also when you are in the room you can hear every thing in the reception.
