  We stayed at the Venice h+h for 5 nights and it was perfect! We decided to spend an extra 100 or so euros to get an apartment instead of a hotel room and we saved a few hundred euros catering for ourselves instead of relying on the expensive restaurants of Venice. The apartment was very large and modern with everything you could need for a stay of... what people say » any length. We stayed in San Zuccaria which was a 10 min walk to St Mark's sq and Rialto bridge but still not in a busy crowded tourist area. Overall - Location was excellent - close to St Marks, Rialto and the water bus stops at San Zaccarina. 5 mins walk from Coop supermarket and many restaurants and take aways. The apartment was very nice and spacious with two rooms and reasonably well renovated. Everything in venice looks worn down from the outside but once inside, the apt was very nice. Donatella and Elise were excellent hostesses and responded very priomptly to all questions and queries. Definitely recommended. Btw tourists to Venice mus

  We loved our stay at Morante Apartment in Cannaregio Venice. It was in a wonderful position very close to the train station with the canal at our doorstep; There was also a park very close(great for the kids): We had a great coffe shop outside the main gate and there was a bakery, supermarket, fish market and fruit shop very close by. The staff, claudia, was very helpful & polite in allowing me & my family to check in early without charging anything extra - as we were making our way to venice from milan. The apartment was large & comfortable & quite central to everything. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable & accommodating our early check in!

  Our trip to Venice was very enjoyable and relaxing, thanks to our accommodation at Corte 1321. The lady working at the time, whose name we unfortunately did not catch, was very warm and welcoming. She came out to the courtyard to greet us when we arrived - and had even waited until late evening for us to arrive after some train delays. We felt very com - We loved the place. It's a very well appointed place with excellent decor and furniture. The beds were so comfy and the bathroom shower area was really spacious. The host Maria was excellent and very knowledgable and helpful, our kids thought she was wonderful.

  Our family of 4 had the apt near San Samuele. The 2 bdrms were on the 2nd floor and the kit/dining, livingroom were on the 3rd. The apt has good lighting (except for the bathroom) which we always find to be a problem in Europe-any coun - The communication from the charming owner was excellent! We had no phone or internet here for four days leading up to our trip, so everything had to be passed via our daughter. This presented no problem. We remained in communication by text right up to the time we arrived in Piazzale Roma ready for the ten minute walk to the flat, and she was exactly where she said she would be.
