  Hotel Lodi is on a quiet place near Coloseum in a residental part of Rome. Easy to acces by train (Tuscolana st.), underground (San Giovani) and also by walk. The staff were excellent.   A superb hotel for a short city break. The staff were very helpful, I had to email before arrival and answered promptly. It's in such a fantastic location, a stone's throw from termini and with lots of nice bars, restuarants and pizzerias on the doorstep. We walked to most attractions easily, the colloseum & forum are about 20 - 30 minute walk... what people say » away. The Vatican is a few metro stops away too. Breakfast is basic but just enough to set you up for your daily travels. We will definitely be recom - the hotel very much was pleasant. Convenient arrangement, nearby the station, (went to Naples) both the subway, sights! Nearby on Manin Street found remarkable restaurant where usually had supper. I will note goodwill of the personnel! Thanks to them! Next time we will stop only in this hotel!
