  We really had a great experience with vip Venice. You have to meet the vip person at the dock and they take you to the apartment. When we first arrived we made a few mistakes with the boat and arrived about 45 minutes after we were supposed to. No problem, the vip rep waited for us patiently outside in quite warm weather and was very understanding... what people say » with our delay. The first apartment we were in was very nice and only a block from St Mark's Church.   The staff were fantastic: friendly, obliging, and went the extra mile whenever we asked for anything. The hotel is small but our room was quite large. The whole place is well kept, comfortable and, coupled with the warm service, has a very homely feel. It is 2 mins walk to St. Marks Sq and about 4-5 mins walk to the Rialto Bridge. Having said that... what people say » , the street is not a throughway so no crowds passing by. Perfect! - The layout is such that all of our three rooms were a few steps from where the owner or other staff were seated. They were very attentive to our needs, We came in two groups and both needed help finding the place. In both cases the staff found us and guided us to the hotel.
