Amadeus was amazingly located, roughly half way between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. It is quite difficult to find initially (there's a separate Hotel Amadeus); you need to head to Saint Maria Formosa square. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. They also let you leave your luggage once you check out and give you a spare key.

The Ca Del Giazzo was great. This was our first time visiting Venice. The owners of the apartment met us at the Rialto Bridge, and escorted us to the apartment. 1. Apartment is very nice, charming and comfortable.
2. Great location, Gate to the building is just a few meters from a pretty little canal, and bedroom window overlooks the canal (though view isn't great).
3. Owner is very nice -- charming and welcoming. Left fruit for us, and some mineral water in the fridge. Gave the kids a present before we left, a yummy chocolate hazelnut pastry.

Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street).
Room - clean and cozy.
Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included).
Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.)
Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.
All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.

The location is superb. Quiet square with absolutely beautiful surroundings. Easily walking distance to outlying areas as well as the tourist-centric sites. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked well and room size was very good. The breakfast was good supplying ham, cheese, and sweet breads. Canned fruit and yogurt were also available. Overall we were quite satisfied with Hotel Bartolomeo. The location was very good. Close to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square.
