The location of the hotel was perfect, only 10 minutes from San Marco's which is far close enough to easily reach and far enough away to get away from the noisy crowds. Room was basic but functional and thank goodness the AC worked because outside it was 38 degrees C. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful.

1. Apartment is very nice, charming and comfortable.
2. Great location, Gate to the building is just a few meters from a pretty little canal, and bedroom window overlooks the canal (though view isn't great).
3. Owner is very nice -- charming and welcoming. Left fruit for us, and some mineral water in the fridge. Gave the kids a present before we left, a yummy chocolate hazelnut pastry.

The owner is friendly and willing to help you with anything you may need.
Facilities and room were perfect for us.

+location - near the bridge Realto in San Marco district. Very nice location for seeing Venice. 2 minutes from Grand Canal if you arrive on vapporetto, there is an excess to the canal near the hotel entrance (30 metres) if you arrive by water taxi.
Very good place to stay in Venice in terms of value for money.

The beds and pillows were comfortable. The shower worked well and room size was very good. The breakfast was good supplying ham, cheese, and sweet breads. Canned fruit and yogurt were also available. Overall we were quite satisfied with Hotel Bartolomeo. The location was very good. Close to Rialto bridge and 10 minutes from San Marco square.

The location is superb. Quiet square with absolutely beautiful surroundings. Easily walking distance to outlying areas as well as the tourist-centric sites. Maria Elisabetta and Rodolfo are a wonderful young couple who take great care of their guests. The location of the Residenza is perfect (next to San Marco but away from the crowd, and not far away from the Castello area where the Biennale takes place and where there are plenty of great authentic restaurants). Location - perfect (near San Marco square, but on the small quiet street).
Room - clean and cozy.
Bathroom - big, light and clean, clean and clean (hairdryer, toiletries, towels are included).
Breakfast - very good (choice of yoghurts, meat, cheese, bread, jam, juice, coffee, tea, etc.)
Owner - intelligent, polite and friendly person with great sense of humor.
All together this will make your stay in this hotel perfect.
