  The staff was very friendly and helpful and spoke enough English to make up for my poor Italian. They were able to recommend excellent restaurants nearby. The hotel was spotless, quiet and very charming. It was also conveniently located only a few blocks from the train station.   I thought the location of the room was excellent. I loved that it took advantage ofr the canal. I felt that in in-house internet was soooo convenient and a reasonable price. - Fantastic location. We had a big room, overlooking the canal, very clean. Nice breakfast, staff very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel to anybody.
