The staff were most helpfull from the moment we arrived till the day we left. I would point out one member of staff, unfortunatly I dont have his name, he works on reception, very smart and I do know he is 19 year of age, management should keep an eye on him he will go far in the leisure industry - The hotel was fantastic, not only did they upgrade

We stayed in a 2/Bedroom 6 sleeper apartment which we found to be very spacious, well appointed and clean. The staff were very helpful. Being our first visit to Venice and having read that it was a little difficult to find (true as the venue is not well sign-posted), we called the duty manager from the nearest water taxi stop (S. Very friendly! They make you feel number 1 as a guest! Little cute breakfastroom but everything you need is there. The hotel is absolutely central in Venezia, San Marco and Rialto are really near, Lido in 20 Minutes by Boat. Next boatstation (Sant' Angelo) is about a minute away.

We booked Albergo Bonvecchiati but were transferred to the sister Hotel 1 min away Palazzo Bonvecchiati. This Hotel is a 4 star but was a 5 star by our standards. The staff were the best we've ever met, the hotel is brand new and modern, so beautiful and very well located. Albergo Bonvecchiati is more antique looking and seems very nice as well but

The room was small but I was prepared for that after reading the reviews. We went just before easter and got a great price - I would not have paid the standard rate during peak season - too expensive and too many tourists. Overall, a brilliant holiday. Our passports were pick-pocketted when boarding passenger ferry to car park on departure - nothing to do with hotel but receptionist was most helpful with advice. Beware ferrys / pick pockets! Great

Nice, cosy room with air conditioning. We had very friendly staff who told us where good local restaurants and tourist attractions were. The best thing about this hotel was the location, very close (5 minute walk) from St Mark's Square. Considering this, the price per night was also pretty good value
