  that's an oasis in the centre os naples! we reached the hotel by foot from the central railway ctation - there was rubbish everywhere while we were going, but caracciolo appeared like a miracle)) by the way, naples has it's own charm and i like it, but the difference is enormous on the first sight)) - Beautiful hotel with nice facilities. Great ... what people say » friendly staff. Good breakfast. However, in a horrible neighborhood indeed. Napoli is pretty bad criminality wise, imagine staying in a bad hood. Somebody tried to steel my iphone from my hands right outside the hotel at 7pm at night.

  It is an extraordinary property. Much of the original architecture still exists which makes it a very unique place. The location and view are unbelievable, the rooftop pool and garden are gorgeous, and the food is excellent.   The Plazzo Alabardieri was a real find! It is in a great location within easy walking distance for shopping, sight seeing, restaurants and bars. It is also in a very safe location. Hotel itself is a boutique hotel which is very elegant and peaceful. Room and bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast had an excellent choice and very good quality.
