We left the guys at home and did a sister trip across Italy, which commenced in Naples. This classy five star hotel was a fabulous way to deal with jet lag! Arriving a bit earlier than expected, the hotel staff treated us to cappuccino and cake while they readied our beautiful corner room complete with a spectacular view of the Castel dell'Ovo. ... what people say » Immaculate service, a bathroom filled with lovely spa products and fresh crisp linen sheets donned the bed nightly. We had a superb meal at the Hotel - The Grande Hotel Vesuvio is truly grand! It is an elegant top of the line hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two large rooms beautifully furnished. They supply their guests with comfy terry robes and slippers and nice toiletries. Wi fi was free. The rooms are kept very clean also. We had a balcony on the front of the hotel and looked out on the waterfront with its boats, a castle that is lit at night, and Vesuvius looming in the distance. T
