  Location - the hotel is across the road from the Palatine Hill (however entrance is on the other side) - we had a great room view of it and it certainly gave you a sense of the history unique to Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was good size and very clean. Great room rate in January. Staff was friendly, helpful, and professional. Our initial room was a bit noisy from traffic but they moved us with no problem.   Staff were very friendly and helpful. Superior rooms were large with nice bathrooms. We walked to lots of major attractions: Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colloseum and Roman Forums were all 15 - 20 minutes easy walk away. My wife and daughters found plenty of shopping nearby, especially on and around Via Nazionale which is 40m f - Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking. Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.
