It was easy to walk to locations like the Trevi fountain, the main Firenze train station, the colosseum, and the forum. Right on bus route to easily get to the Vatican (recommend over the metro). I liked 1) location - the very center of Rome. 15 min walk from Termini train station, the same time from the hotel to the piazza di Spania, Fontana di Trevi or Colosseo 2) room - high ceiling, nice floor, fresh air, aeroconditioning, exelent and modest desing - color of walls, funiture, bed. very clean. 3) bathroom - exelent. 4) staff - very friendly, speaking english. 5) tasty breakfast - coffee, juice, baking, cheese, ham, yougurt.

Right from the moment of the initial, the team at Matisse couldnt have been more helpful and professional. Roberto, the owner, was charming. The relaxed atmosphere was welcome after a long day travelling. His restaurant recommendation was perfect. Although they were fully booked on our last pass thru Rome, the staff once again went above and beyond by helping us find alternate accommations in their neighbourhood. We will definetly stay here again and highly recommend BB Matisse!

this is a very good hotel with a great location and friendly staff...alessandro, veronika, and emanuele at the bar - great cocktail! expect quirks because this is a new hotel and some work still needs to be done; on my first day, there were guys carry fixtures in and out, dudes working on elevator.
the bed was very comfortable and pillows very cozy.
nice bathroom. great showerhead.
breakfast is quite big, with very good cakes and cornetto and such. eggs were pretty good.

My girlfriend and I booked a room in Esedra mainly because of its good location, 10min walk from Termini, 15min from Trevi Fountain area and 2min from the nearest metro station.
The room was pretty neat, really clean, the bathroom was one of the nicest we had in Italy, it had a massage shower, which was pretty cool.

Breakfast was excellent with good choice (scrambled eggs, bacon and smoked sausage, cold meats, cereals, pastries, breads, fruit, yoghurt and much more). Beds comfortable and well-maintained. No noise and had a great nights sleep after a busy day sight seeing. Airy and good size rooms with attractive, modern décor. Near train and bus station (5 minute walk). Central location.

We loved that it was like a small appartment so you have much more space than a common hotel room. We had a (big) plus since ours had a private terrace with a table so one could relax after a busy day walking through Rome. Even if we didn't used much of the kitchenette, it is a plus. Cleaned daily. Very close to termini station, so it has very good access to public transportation. Definitely very good value for money.

although i had read very bad reviews about the hotel, but actually i was surprised on arrival. Nice staff and very helpful, 24 hour reception (guarding the hotel), the room was clean, with small refrigerator and a safe with PIN to save your staffs. the toilet was ok with shower gel and clean towels. I would recommend it for any one. -
